Sen. Joe Manchin reportedly opposes an effort by his party to give a $4,500 tax benefit to electric vehicles made in the United States by unionized manufacturers.
What about the 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations in the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that are being paid for by US taxpayers?
For that matter, why is our federal government picking winners and losers at all? Who will benefit the most by this big push for electric vehicles? Tesla and Elon Musk, the richest man in the world. American taxpayers should not be subsidizing the richest man on the planet! If Tesla and Elon Musk want more charging stations to sell more cars, they can pay for them!
