HOW TO SIDE CHOP WITH A DUMBBELL

The side chop is a complex and functional exercise that works every muscle in the body. The wood chop is defined as a core exercise, and because it is done with a dumbbell it is also a free weight.
To the do the side chop
1) Grab the heads of the dumbbell
2)Assume a wide stance, bring weight to outside of torso
3)Shift the weight, and then rotate the torso
4)Allow the arms to express the movement like a the tail of a whip
5) Keep the core activated and get the whole body involved.
