My Favorite Things

This is from the "Soul 4 the Season" Christmas show. The show featured an all-star band of San Francisco Bay Area musicians with Tammy Hall (Nancy Wilson) on Piano, Michael Shiono (Jennifer Holiday) on Bass, Steve Dunne(Cold Blood) on Guitar, Derrick Martin (Little Richard) on Drums and Tom Politer (Tower of power) on Sax. It also featured 4 prolific Northern California Vocalists including multi Award winning Paula Harris ( Featured in this video), Bay Area Icon Lydia Pense ( of Cold Blood) Dana Moret (Sons of Champlain) and Blues Music Award nominee, Terrie Odabi.

The show was a mix of unique holiday arrangements pulled from the genres of Soul, Blues, Jazz, and Soul. This version of the classic "My Favorite Things" Was created by Marcus Miller for Luther Vandross's Christmas Album.
