Dr. Dave Rasnick, PhD, speaks at the "Save the Kids" event November 7
David Rasnick joining from N. Carolina. He has a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry He received a PhD in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 1978 Dave was one of two PhDs hired by Abbot Laboratories to establish its chemistry diagnostic division in N. Chicago IL.
After leaving Abbot, David started four biotech companies. He developed protease inhibitors for the tissue destroying diseases; arthritis, emphysema, parasites and cancer.
Dave left the pharmaceutical biotech industry in 1996 and has been working with Professor Peter Duesberg at the university of California Berkeley alternating between cancer research and aids.
Dr. Rasnick devoted 37 years studying Aids and has published 42 articles on the topic.
