Neya F8 Big Jack Cigar Review
This 7x70 (yes, 7x70) stick features a dark chocolate wrapper with a red hue, mottling, medium veins, tight invisible seams, double cap, a fairly soft even pack, oily soft feel and damp musty tobacco aroma. First light reveals a completely open draw even with a punch, a medium-full body producing flavors of just a smooth straight tobacco on the draw and finish. The first third starts very slow with flavors going to a medium body and adding a caramel and smoked meat in addition to the straight tobacco core. The finish is smooth and mellows out a touch. Just going in to the 2nd third, flavors remain the same but the body goes way don to mild-medium. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 55 minutes, the burn is very bad needing frequent small and one huge touchups however this is not unexpected with a ligero heavy blend. Flavors are unchanged. 1:30 in it required a complete relight with a wonky burn and tunneling. Ending at 2:10 the last bit got progressively warm but burned better than any other section, bringing the body to medium and bringing up a nice caramel sweetness to the draw.
