Are House Republicans Lazy or Traitors?

The latest result of bad legislation coming out of the House of Representatives is the Defense Spending Bill that passed a provision to create Red Flag Laws in the DOD.

That alone is bad, but the part that is really concerning is the efforts to encourage local law enforcement to enforce these Red Flag's even where there is no State Law.
