080 "He That Soweth Discord Among Brethren" (Proverbs 6:16 & 19b) Our Daily Greg

God hates those who sow discord among brethren. That does not mean that the sower is one of the "brethren" and in our example of Hophni and Phinehas (sons of Eli the High Priest) we will see that they certainly were not believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But if we see this sin among professing Christians, that person is acting like an unbeliever and making themselves and object of God's hate.
