Kathy Stabler haters make no sense

Kathy(who dies in the new Law And Order series) is the wife of Elliot Stabler, a detective who used to be apart of SVU, along with his partner-detective Olivia Benson. It seems like a lot of fans of this show want Kathy out of the picture just so Elliot and Olivia can get together.
