John Money forced two twin brothers to simulate sex acts while one of the boys had been told he was actually a girl. His theory was that women are the way we are because we are sexually treated in a particular way by men, therefore to prove it, he thought he could treat a woman like a man and see if he became John Money's misogynistic idea of a woman. When the experiment failed, horribly, this was then somehow used to prove John Money was still right. After all: shouldn't it have worked, if gender identities don't exist? The answer is that it is a religion and there is no falsification criteria that the fundamentalists will ever accept.
