It's awards season!
BAFTA, DGA, SAG, ACE, the Annies, the Oscars, ACM, VES, the Hugos, the Nebulas, the Saturns, the Dragons... there are a LOT of awards out there. And there are some people who would love to receive an award or two. It might make a difference in negotiating the next deal. It might interest potential investors or new clients.

But ultimately, do awards really mean anything to the general public?
