How to replace an ABB ACH 550 VFD with an ABB ACH 580 using original bypass

The ABB 550 VFD will become obsolete and is being replaced by the ABB 580 VFD. The newer generation has the capability of working with an existing Eclipse bypass. Installing an ABB ACH 580 VFD into the original panel for and ABB ACH 550 can save a little down time and wiring, depending on your system configuration.
