-From day 1-8, virus is replicating, spike proteins are attached to the virus
-Only day 8 onwards, when immune response is strong enough and the virus stops its replication cycle, free spike proteins start to circulate and this causes the allergic reaction
-IgE raised in patients who had severe illness
