Hello world, It’s nice to meet you
Got a smile on my face. I’m so glad to greet you.
It’d be nice to talk so let’s go for a walk
cuz today is a lovely day!

It’s time we get out of bed. Shake the dust from our heads.
We’ve been snoozing here for much too long
Let’s wave goodbye to the night and say hello to the light
and you and I can share this magical song.

We don’t need any cash. We’ll leave our cares in the trash
and open up our minds to what’s all around.
Cuz the birds are still chirpin’ and babies are burpin’
and joy and laughs are ours to be found!

Sometimes we let all the noise steal away all our joys
but that’s a rather ugly place to stay.
So put that bunk to the side and let’s go for a ride.
Come on! Today is a lovely day!

Step one of our fun is to notice the sun
smiling happy with it’s light shining down.
It feeds all the trees, serves us vitamin D
and reminds us brighter things are around!

Even in muck we can find some good luck
if we just drop the urge to make a fuss.
Instead of assessing, we’ll just count all our blessings
and we’ll soon become a lovelier us!
Sometimes life can be sad and things can go bad
and it’s an effort to see past the gloom
But our hurts and our pains are like dirt in the rain…
Without them the flowers couldn’t bloom.

Friendly faces and graces and wide open spaces
are just beyond our l’le nook.Theres no entry fee, It’s all completely free!
So let’s get out and take a really good look!

There are birds and trees and butterfly knees
and little fishes with their homes in the seas.
There are colorful skies and beautiful eyes
and lovely yous and thems and lovelier wes.

Stop looking at grey on this colorful day
There’s so many magic gifts to be found
We’ll trade our second guesses for great big yeses
and we’ll soon see God’s love all around
