Strengthening the Black Family is one of the program pillars of the Douglass Leadership Institute (DLI).

One of the ways we do this is by focusing on the issue of LIFE.

Jesus said in John 10:10 ...

"The thief ( i.e., the devil ) comes for no other reason, than to steal, kill and destroy; but, I am come that you might have LIFE, and have it more abundantly."

Every day, various forces relentlessly work to rob our communities of this precious gift of life - that of Born and Pre-Born lives. In an effort to be a voice for the voiceless babies in the womb, the Douglass Leadership Institute (DLI), is boldly participating in many programs across the country such as:

• Connecting Pregnant Women To "FREE" Pregnancy Help Centers

— Abstinence Education
— The Fatherhood Initiative
