The base camp series takes on a whole new look at our new home and property. This series will focus on updates to our homestead and the development of a system of survival and preparedness. As a family, our goal is to be able to sustain ourselves for a very lengthy time if there were ever to be any kind or emergency or disaster. We will explore new ideas and learn the skills necessary to survive in a grid down or SHTF scenario. Being somewhat prepared is better than not being prepared at all.
