everybody loves to hear the linus & lucy “Thanksgiving time” theme & I have a fun memory about that song…when auditioning at Berklee College of Music in ‘88, I was sitting in the hall waiting my turn. A tall slender Mohawk’d seemingly 19-year old walked in leather jacket leather boots leather spiked bracelets right into his audition. several of us were like ”what’s HE going to play?😂” The Clash ”should i stay or should i go?” 😂well, he started to play the “linus and lucy” riff and we thought what is going on here?😂 then he proceeded to play it like jerry lee lewis would’ve🔥,,,it’s always an inspiration for going further on this arrangement///\\\thought i would SHARE this with you as recorded 11/25/21, whether i see you/know you/don’t *know* you, etc. i hope this piano punk-inspired version brings you another dose of joy thankful today. and if you watch & wonder yes, i sped the video up🆙😱🎉it clocks in at 1:24, which is about what that audition piece felt like
