Why God Doesn't Use Punishment to Correct Us

Even though we, as humans, think correction and punishment are the same, God doesn't - and we need to learn from Him why that is!

Growing up, most of us were taught to do the "right" thing through the punishment and reward system, which is based on our performance. But our relationship with God is based on His Grace! So we need to learn from Him how He corrects us, and why He doesn't use punishment to do it!

The most important relationship in our lives is our relationship with God. The way we relate to Him is essential to everything else, that’s why the enemy works overtime to distort His Word to us so that we misunderstand who God is and relate to Him based on the enemy’s lies, and not the Truth of God’s Word!

We need to understand disassociate God from our sinful nature and see Him the Way He wants us to - based on His Word to us! We need to understand that God does not chastise us the way we think He does, but that His Discipline and Correction are very different than what we know from other people what discipline and correction is!
