Are these claims true or false? Do the medical standards allow this to occur?

This episode is focused on addressing some misinformation about transgender treatment for children and adolescents. We will review the current Standards of Care for transgender treatment, review the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for Gender Dysphoria (found in Part 1), and take a peek at Arkansas HB1570, which passed on April 6th, 2021 with a veto override, prohibiting transgender transition care for children/adolescents in the state (in this episode).
