Feel'in Groovy ..

Play it low, keep it sizzling, stay in control, try to remember all this and keep playing. I really enjoy watching drummers like Chris Daddy Dave performing you can tell he has spent hours on the J.Dilla feel and took it to a whole new level. For me learning new ideas on the drums and in music in general keep me motivated and practicing. I may not ever get the chance to play this form of drumming in a live situation but what ever it is you practice it always tends to bleed out in other playing or performing situations, so on the whole it's a good thing to keep pushing yourself musically.
