Have made the best Cornbread Dressing ever this is such a wonderful Cornbread Dressing Recipe that will go perfectly with your holiday turkey dinner. You could even serve the Cornbread on its own with some chili or soup. This is a very easy recipe that will be the first to disappear from the table it is so good.

Cornbread:
2 cups cornmeal
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp baking powder
2 large eggs
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
2 cups milk
9x13 inch pan buttered and lined with parchment paper
Bake in preheated 400F oven for 20 minutes

1-1/2 cup diced celery
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup unsalted butter
5 -6 fresh sage leaves
5-6 sprigs fresh thyme
2 rosemary springs
1 large Granny Smith apple, cubed
2/3 cup dry cranberries
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
Black pepper to taste
4 cups chicken or turkey broth
1 large egg
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter for topping
Bake in preheated 350F oven for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown and cooked throughout
