Low Carb Kolache Recipe | Lean and Green | Lunch with Lisa
I'm a Texan Czech and I love Kolache, so I figured out how to make it Low-Carb to fit my lifestyle, and I wanted to share that with y'all because I love y'all and Kolache are love!

My Recipe:
1 bag of Keto Bread Mix (affiliate link) https://amzn.to/3FJTPIz
1/2 cup warm water
1 tbsp or 1 pack of instant yeast (affiliate link) https://amzn.to/31263gZ1 tsp of honey
2 eggs
2 tbsp butter at room temp
1/2 cup Swerve (affiliate link) https://amzn.to/3oXDklv
1/2 cup GOOD JELLY:
Bon Maman Cherry Preserves (affiliate link) https://amzn.to/3r80IiL
Egg wash:
1 egg + 1 tbsp water
1. Combine Keto Bread mix, eggs, butter, swerve, honey, and yeast. (You don't need to combine the yeast and water first - my bad - don't pay attention to my video - well, watch it, but only for entertainment value LOL!)
2. Stir the dough for a couple minutes and let it rest, covered, for 60 minutes (My kitchen is cooler this time of year, so I give it more time or put it in the oven with the light on).
3. Preheat oven to 375°F
4. After resting, spoon dough onto parchment paper into 24 equal portions (I made 23 small-ish ones). Let rise for 1 hour. Using your fingers, make an indent in the dollops.
5. Brush with egg wash. Place 1 teaspoon jelly in each divot. Bake on a parchment lined sheet, 15 to 20 minutes or until, you guessed it, GOLDEN BROWN AND DELICIOUS!
