Trained Baby Blue and Gold Macaw Arrives!

Annelise receives personal delivery of her baby Blue and Gold Macaw from Parrot Wizard. Nalu bonds to Annelise instantly but we still spend a few hours doing some introduction and training to ensure that both Nalu and Annelise have the skills to continue to work together and build a relationship.

In no time, Annelise is able to have the macaw target, step up, flight recall, and put on a harness. All of the training, socialization, and skills transferred to the new owner because of the meticulous prep work I had been doing with the baby up until now. It is so satisfying when it all works out and the baby and the new family are so happy together!
