Ancient Hill Town Railway Station

This video show the old railway station of hill town, Kalaw, Southern Shan State, Myanmar.

With its mock-tudor architecture and laid-back charm, Kalaw's train station is a perfect introduction to the former British hill station. Kalaw has a pleasant cool climate due to its elevation of 1,300 meters above sea level. It also has a diverse constructed and living heritage, as well as a welcoming multi-cultural ambience.
You can take photos of this lovely ancient train station and surroundings. If you want to make a short trip with the train, it is okay and you can see many beautiful views from the train. The rail excursion can also be paired with a three-day walk between Kalaw and Inle Lake, which is a fantastic way to view the southern Shan Hills. It is preferable to hike from Kalaw rather than Nyaungshwe because you will be climbing less.
