20211203 - Liberty Minute

I'm Peter Serefine and this is the Liberty Minute for Friday, day 628 of 15 days to slow the spread.
On Tuesday, the House passed HR 550. If passed by the Senate and made into law HR 550 will spend $400 million to create an immunization records database. This should scare anyone who believes in freedom at all. Any federal database is a horrible idea that will ultimately be used to take away your liberty.
The remain in Mexico program will restart on December 6th after the Biden administration agreed to more funding for shelter and humanitarian aid for asylum seekers.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger from Illinois was the only Republican to vote for the stopgap spending bill that passed the House yesterday. Just to be clear, Congress is still working on spending bills that by law have to be passed by September 31st every year, but are never passed by September and nothing is ever done about it. Senate Republicans swear they won't vote for this, but I suspect they will if they haven't already.
