Winston's Intellectual Property Confiscation Education is a fictional account of potential impacts of the implementation of the TPP, heavily influenced by the story Fahrenheit 451

Project Gutenberg has, in fact, a notice on their website stating that they do not know whether they will be permitted to continue to offer public domain literary works after the implementation of the TPP.

Matt Drudge, visiting the Alex Jones Infowars show, told Alex Jones that a Supreme Court Justice had, in fact, told him that there is a strong push to shut down his website, by identifying his linking to news headlines as copyright violations. Drudge was told that his site would likely be shut down "next year" which translates to 2016 -- now THIS year.

Much of the dialog of this Winston episode is derived from established facts. For instance, the name of the reader, the Kindle, did spark a media storm of speculation whether hard copy books would cease to exist, or, euphemistically, "burn". Digital copies of 1984 did indeed disappear from devices.
