HackPack Productions present: Beanie Boo Hospital - part 1

My three youngest, Mason, Serenity & Sienna, wanted to make a Beanie Boo movie yesterday. For those of us over the age of 12 we know them as Beanie Babies! 😁 Serenity & Sienna love watching Beanie Boo videos on YouTube & Mason loves making movies so he offered to be the director & cinematographer. Serenity & Sienna wrote the script, came up with all the props and did all the "acting" completely on their own to get it filmed. I wasn't even in the room. The only tip I gave them was to have good lighting.

When they were done with part of their movie last night they asked me if I would edit their movie & add music once they were finished, which I'm always happy to do! But they had no preference when I asked what they wanted? I told them that means I was choosing what type of movie it was, and they didn't understand.

So, we are doing a little experiment in the power of editing & music!!

They are now making a Trilogy, but their 3-part story is going to be a bit different! I told them that I would surprise them by making each part a totally different type of movie, so they won't know when filming if it's going to be a comedy, romance, drama, action or horror. I told them I wouldn't change any of the dialogue or the chronology order of the scenes, only the angle/zoom of the shots & the music. They didn't believe me that they had no control over the type of movie if they did everything else!

Challenge accepted!! haha
