The Shadow of God
Nebuchadnezzar was a very proud man. He had great accomplishments, and he thought he was the ultimate power. Although he saw many of God's miracles, he did not repent.
But God knew how to defeat his pride. He became insane and lived as an animal for seven years. At the end of that time, he realized that the Lord was King of Kings, and God of all Gods.
The proud will be broken, but those that repent will be lifted up. Why should we be proud, when we can have a testimony of a greatness of God?
