We are called to be like Jesus - to Shepherd those in our charge - and we are responsible for them. I don’t think it’s a secret that Jesus is our model as The Good Shepherd – but tonight I’d like to take a minute to remind everyone how important shepherding really is, and compare and contrast the Lord from the thief and those of earthly station, as these are two opposite ends - Jesus – the perfect Shepherd – and contrast His perfection with those or earthly station.
