SOME THINGS ARE LOST FOR ETERNITY, PRESERVE YOUR FAMILY TREASURES

All too often I have been witness to the remarks of folks that have lost everything to fire or flood. Their sorrow that their children and grand children will never know anything of their families history because of some natural disaster. I have been digitizing historical archives for many years now. I am always amazed at the fantastic collections of historical ephemera that are stored away in so many closets, attics and garages. This is all fine until disaster hits and it is all lost. The only way to give it a chance of any protection in the least is to digitize the material, make several copies and give the copies to other interested parties for the sake of preservation.
