In Part 2 of our day at Death Valley National Park, we begin by descending from Dante's View at about 5400ft to Badwater Basin at -282ft. After walking Badwater Basin at a balmy 78F, we drive over to the odd formations at the Devil's Golf Course. Finally, we drive the Artist's Palette scenic road.
