Tips for Beginning Groundwork

In this video, I share the process I use to start a young horse in the training process. We begin with groundwork, which allows the horse and I to get to know each other, bond, learn to trust, and learn how to navigate situations the horse may encounter with a rider on her back.

Anyone can use these tips when doing ground work on any horse whether a young horse beginning training or an experienced older horse needing a tune-up.
