With the Fed set to change tack and tighten monetary policy, we will look at what happened the last time the Fed did that back in December of 2015.

The last change in policy was very gradual as there was a lone rate hike in January of 2016 and a series of hikes only started a year later.

Tapering had started in 2014 and ended in 2015 but the balance sheet did not start being reduced until 2018.
