What would happen if the women of Iran, Afghanistan & Saudi Arabia simultaneously removed their face veils in an iconic rejection of the totalitarian control of personal behavior?

Muslim women who flout the onerous enforcement of the face veil have suffered acid attacks, beatings and even murder.

Humanitarian and feminist groups have completely failed to take a stand, fearing the issue is politically incorrect.

Burqa liberation day may be a controversial, perilous and quixotic concept, but deep seated despotism has never been stifled and eviscerated without men and women first daring to dream of dangerous ideas.
