Dr. Paul Marik: Hospitals get 20% bonus if they prescribe toxic ineffective remdesivir

Many people. including myself, have long been baffled why hospitals are fighting tooth and nail against providing safe and effective medications to COVID patients and why they keep prescribing toxic, ineffective, expensive remdesivir.

We may have found a strong reason why: the U.S. government (i.e. taxpayers) are offering U.S. hospitals a 20% bonus on their TOTAL bill, but ONLY if they prescribe the toxic and ineffective medication remdesivir.

The total bill does not only include the costs for remdesivir of about $3000 per treatment course, but EVERYTHING. In the US, it can easily amount to significantly more than $100,000.

By prescribing remdesivir and not prescribing early effective treatment, the hospitals gain financially in two ways. First, the patient is in the hospital significantly longer, leading to significantly more profit for the hospital. Second, on top of the already inflated bill, they get a 20% bonus from the government.

It's abundantly clear that the regulatory agencies are captures by the pharmaceutical companies, i.e. they're corrupt to the bone. Said differently, the regulatory agencies ARE Big Pharma. This policy was written by the pharmaceutical companies and for-profit 'health' care for the benefit of the pharmaceutical companies and for-profit 'health' care.

The big loser in this all is of course the patient: Profits over patients. By receiving toxic ineffective treatment and not receiving effective safe treatment, patients often unnecessarily end up dying.

Secondly, the society, because the measures of mass destruction are mandates to protect hospital capacity. Third, society also loses its freedom and its money, because ultimately the population pays the bonus, either through taxes or through increased insurance premiums.

What is happening right now is a MASSIVE transfer of money from society to the pharmaceutical and related companies.
