TGD076 Carey Counsil For Texas Commissioner of Agriculture

People hear Agriculture and think, eh boring right? Did you know only a handful of states in the union have a ban on foreign countries buying farmland here? Texas is NOT one of those states. Do we want China buying our farmland and meat processing plants or god forbid water utilities? Well Carey Council doesn’t want that either and that is one of the reasons he is running for Texas Commissioner of Agriculture. Carey Counsil is a 5th generation rancher, veteran, businessman and college professor who has studied agriculture and economics for decades. Carey talks to me about the threats to southern border ranch and farm land from illegal aliens who continually damage land, steal from and even assault ranchers and farmers. The federal government is doing nothing about it. Carey Counsil will explain the importance of agriculture to our country.
