Why do cops always shoot to kill?

This video covers a complex subject. There are no simple answers, but I want to give as accurate of an answer as possible. As former law enforcement, I am a supporter of all cops. However, don’t let that fool you into thinking I think they do no wrong. Sometimes, because of a failure of training, individual negligence, and VERY rarely, outright malice cops kill people. I firmly believe that in these instances, that all the responsible parties should be held accountable. This video is simply an explanation of how deadly force training is supposed to work and, in most cases, this is exactly how it works. I will cite all references below.
