I had to sing this song because I believe it was my Mom's favorite. While singing it so many memories came flooding back. Decorating that tree and looking at the decorations shaped like bells. The big city that everyone in our area went to was still a small town but they had a 5 & Dime store. They even had live pets! That was a big deal for us kids back then. So many wonderful memories these old songs bring back. It was such a different world then. I mostly remember the snow and my feet being numb in my boots but I would still stay outside and play with the neighbor kids. We built forts and had snow ball fights. I think my biggest decisions those days was more like what color scarf should Frosty the Snowman wear this year. Blue or Red? Simple life but oh so much fun.
