I'm an ex-atheist, and by God's grace, he saved me from the darkness of atheism. I like to use these stories as an example of why atheism can and must and should be criticized.

Keep in mind, I'm NOT saying all atheist people are a bunch of genocidal communists, in fact, most Western atheists would probably be just as repulsed by the genocidally murderous communist dictatorships of the 20th century. But this doesn't change the fact that communism is a spawn of atheism because every communist dictatorship past and present officially espouses militant atheism and has state-enforced atheism. So it's not just a situation where these communist dictators just happened to be atheists when they did these crimes against humanity (like atheist apologists will try to claim), every communist state used the state to enforce atheism and they persecuted non-atheists. A good example of this is the League of Militant Atheists, they were a government-funded terrorist group in the Soviet Union that committed acts of terrorism in the name of atheism. So it's safe to say that these communist dictators of the past and present were not just evil people who happened to be atheists, they did what they did BECAUSE they were militant atheists.
