Dear Pastor Bob: I’m what you would call a baby Christian. For the past couple of months I’ve been trying to get back to the Lord and I have felt a miraculous change. But one day while I was on my stride, I got hit with what I think was a spiritual attack. Bad thoughts scattered my brain. Blasphemous thoughts that no living being should ever think. I felt so guilty that I thought God would never forgive me. I’ve been feeling so scared that he’s mad at me and it breaks my heart. Whatever is in my head also does not want me to read my Bible which I have been trying to read everyday! I start to twitch and shake a bit just by looking at it. I feel so empty and alone and keep having thoughts of ending up at the “other place “ which is the last thing I want. I’m not sure what to do next. You’ll probably will not see this but I felt like I had to tell someone in order to get help.
