The Best Music For a Peaceful Quiet Day
In recent years, there has been a lot of interest in the role that music and rhythm play in our lives. Some research has shown that music is an important contributor to sleep, improves alertness, and enhances our attention span. Relaxing music is increasingly used for this purpose. Studies also indicate that regular music listening may have a positive effect on mood, stress management, and even help us lose or gain weight. One of the questions that researchers have been asking is whether relaxing music alters brainwave patterns so that the brain produces different brainwaves such as alpha, beta, and theta waves.
