Fulshear City Council Meeting 7/21/2015, FIREWORKS AGAIN

FIREWORKS ORDINANCE, CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC MEETING, JULY 2015:
The discussion was to make the existing ordinance stronger but to change the wording of proposal and to discuss the topic again next month.

The way the proposal is currently worded can be interpreted that when a citizen of city A purchases fireworks in city B and is stopped by Fulshear police for any reason while driving through Fulshear, they can be penalized up to $2,000 for having fireworks in his car. The same applies within CCR, if an old forgotten firework is found on your property; you can be penalized up to $2,000.
