This video is mainly for Wes on Quora. Accidental discharges are not a myth. It is true that most accidental discharges are negligent discharges, but accidental discharges can, and do, happen. The key is knowing how your firearm functions! Always abide by firearm safety rules:
- All guns are always loaded.
- Keep your finger off of the trigger and out of the trigger guard until you've made the conscious decision to shoot.
- Never point the firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.

There are more, but these three will keep you out of trouble in most instances.
