The TROLLEFT is not the soul of wit

Brevity is the soul of wit, but not anymore. The word brevity just means "hyper-violent name-calling". That's not witty. It is part and parcel to leftism though.
So please don't confuse wit with brevity. Remember that true wit, is like true grit ... it enable civilization, rather than tear it down.
