Vehicles Collide North of Livingston, NEW WILLARD, December 20, 2021 - At approximately 5:45 pm on December 20, 2021, the driver of a black Nissan Titan pickup was north-bound on US-59 when the driver of black Chevy Trailblazer pulled out of the Gray's Landing RV Park. The vehicles collided. The Nissan left the pavement to the left and slid into the center median. The Chevy spun around facing south and slammed sideways (driver's side) into a guardrail. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Johnny Wilkerson and Cotye Lowrie with the Texas Highway Patrol. One person was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure. There are disputed stories from the drivers as to what exactly happened. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
