The Book of Jude reminds us in verse eleven the failures of the sons of men through Balaam and the rebellion of mutinous Korah. Each of these are examples of betrayal of those within the remnant saved from bondage and murder. Turning our ire against those who seek to serve God in a time of conflict against the Great Adersary - these mutiny's come with an unholy payment which must be made in blood. Though we are assured already of God's Victory, we must be careful not to fall into the distractions and feints of those who serve darkness - whether knowing or unknowing!
