Dr. Neil Shah: Republican and conservative are not synonymous

Dr. Neil Shah affirmed that he is "absolutely" an anti establishment candidate in the race for governor that's pitting him against four other Republican candidates vying to unseat Governor Walz.

Although he seeks the Republican nomination, Shah was not afraid to criticize the party in a recent post-debate interview with Alpha News.

"I for too long had faith ... that Republican and conservative were synonymous, then I realized that they weren't," he said. "There are great people in the Republican Party but there's a small slice of leadership that feel ... they have to bless you running for office."
