Dr. Jerry A. Johnson is the former President of National Religious Broadcasters (2013-19), and previously served as President of Criswell College in Dallas, Texas.
He is a graduate of Criswell College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and he received a Master of Arts in Historical and Theological Studies from Denver Seminary in Denver, Colorado, a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and also studied for a time at Oxford University in England.
Dr. Johnson served in the senior administration and faculty at Southern Seminary and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri and was associated with the Southern Seminary in various roles for 14 years and was also Dean of Boyce College, he served on the seminary’s executive cabinet, was Assistant Director of Development and a Trustee and Board Chairman for two years and has written and delivered numerous theological position papers and published various articles, editorials and studies.
Dr. Johnson has 15 years of pastoral experience in the Texas and the Denver area and in addition he hosted the Jerry Johnson Live radio program on KCBI radio in Dallas, Texas.
Jerry is currently the host of Faith Is Green, which is a series that looks through the lens of various faith and belief systems to explore our environment from a theological perspective, available on EarthX TV.
