Ending Abortion in America | Beyond the Cover

Tens of millions of preborn babies have been aborted since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. Yet the new Texas Heartbeat Law may turn out to be a game-changer in bringing this decades-long holocaust to an end. In this episode of “Beyond the Cover,” host Gary Benoit interviews lawyer Robert Owens, who wrote the feature article “Ending Abortion in America” in the December 27, 2021 issue of The New American. In the interview, Owens explains why the Texas Heartbeat Law has a good chance of being upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. Many lives are already being saved in Texas because of the state’s Heartbeat Law, and many more could be saved throughout the United States if other states adopt similar legislation. But Owns also points out that Heartbeat legislation is an incremental step in the overall effort to protect the right to life of all pre-born babies in America from the moment of conception.
