Both Matthew and Luke dedicate space this topic. Matthew focuses primarily on Joseph’s role, and Luke, likewise focuses on Mary’s role.

What makes this study unique is that I have integrated the two narratives into one timeline, so I will be moving between the narratives piecing the events together as they happened in sequence, using the clues given in each narrative to connect them. I will give the references for each section as I move back and forth.
