To be able to create a self for ourselves we have to repress certain elements of our personality. In the first years of our lives, we stash away many qualities and behaviors just to form an identity and fit in in the world.

As normal and useful as this process is, with time we forget and even deny the contents of our "backpack", living these repressed elements through impulses and vices, and ending up blaming the results of such action on everything else but ourselves.

Refuse this path in life, which leads to a life of regrets, complaining, and blaming everything but yourself while refusing to realize that your condition in life is the result of your fear of facing your own demons.

The "backpack" that you carry in life is filled with every little thing that you had to put away in order to develop the self that you present into the world.
Have the nerve not to flinch or to be crushed by the sight of your own darkness.

I dare you to refuse to project your evil into the world and have the courage to accept responsibility for your inferior self.

We all have a dark side, both you and me and if you assume you do not have it, it means it already has you.
Confront your demons, keep them in your awareness.
